Awesome place with great wi-fi, a comfortable bar/lounge area, and friendly staff. They helped me with evening plans during my first stay. I highly recommend it! I'll be back for Christmas.

The room was en suite with a view and I truly enjoyed incredibly welcoming staff. The location was great and ideal, not too far from a Baronial mansion...

Consider requesting a room away from the street to minimize noise disturbances during your stay in the early morning hours.

The location is ideal if the ferry arrives late in the evening.
The hotel is a bit out of date. The breakfast area resembles a hall and is not very comfortable.

This is the second time we have stayed in the hotel. We find it convenient for the town, especially leaving the car there!!!!!!and it gives us easy access to visit family and friends. We especially liked the room we had this time(40)apart from the noise of the lift!!!!
My partner finds the T V frustrating as you still only have 4 channels!!!!!He is a late person and likes to watch TV late at night!!!!!!!!

Room without windows, illuminated only by a ceiling light shaft. Bunker style.

The location was close to both the ferry port and the town centre.
This 2 star hotel is more like a hostel, which is okay, except for the prices. Both the accommodation and the food & drinks are very overpriced. I expect a lot more for the prices charged.

I checked into a double room expecting a cozy stay but got an accessible room with twin beds instead. A bit disappointing given the context. I need to mention the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean, tidy, and warm. The buffet breakfast had a massive choice, and I enjoyed the evening meals too-both a la carte and carvery options. Staff interactions varied from one friendly gentleman I chatted with to others who seemed rushed and unavailable when I needed something like milk for my tea or salt and pepper. Parking was ample and convenient. Despite the room mix-up and some service inconsistencies, I still had a nice time overall.

Close to Ferry Port and to restaurants. They put on Continental breakfast from 5am and this allows you to get a bite to eat before getting the ferry at 7am
All was good

Staff was excellent, friendly and very eager to please, so no fault there. Our room was small, tired and in need of an upgrade; nowhere in the hotel was very warm. All in all it was rather expensive for what was on offer at £118.00 for the room per night.

Over priced compared to others. Very basic rooms. Restaurant more like canteen, although food good.

I appreciated the lovely Harris Tweed accents in the decor with a cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel.
A quieter dining area would enhance the experience.
